Mind Entities are fictional organisms that embody the thoughts, feelings and urges experienced within everyday mental life. Much like microorganisms inhabiting the human body, these creatures inhabit the mind, where their unique biological properties can influence the thoughts and emotions of their hosts.
Every species has evolved differently. Some fly, some burrow, some form groups and others prefer solitude. Their anatomy and behaviour reflect the psychological phenomena they represent.
Yet Mind Entities are neither heroes nor villains. They are organisms following their own instincts. What may be helpful in one situation can become troublesome in another.
Mind Entities uses this fictional ecosystem to encourage curiosity, understanding and a less judgemental way of looking at what happens inside our minds.
